Here is a handsome early usage of our first international postal card.
The card has a scarce receiver from Germany on the facing side, making it an even nicer example of a card which is seldom seen properly used. The card was mailed on 3.6.66 (Friday) and the German receiver indicates 6.6.66 (Monday), confirming an overseas airpost delivery. Incidentally, the reason for the scarcity of used international postal cards may lie with the fact that most of the cards sent overseas perhaps yet remain overseas!
